Welcome to FibroIreland

FibroIreland has been created for people affected by fibromyalgia. It provides general information to help you understand how fibromyalgia affects you and what you can do to manage it. It also tells you where to find further information and advice.

We aim to :

• Listen with empathy to your experience of FM

• Make FM better known and understood

• Provide up-to-date information on FM

• Support those caring for people with FM

Dates for your Diary

Living with a long-term health condition such as Fibromyalgia can give rise to stress, tension, irritation and depression. While these are perfectly normal and understandable reactions, they are ultimately unhelpful in dealing with a long-term health condition. Mindfulness provides a way to change our relationship to Fibromyalgia, by providing a tool kit of resources that help reduce these unhelpful reactions and greatly enhance our quality of life.

Facilitated by Fidelma Farley.

When? Wednesdays 2.30pm to 4.00pm for nine weeks starting 22nd September

Where? Dublin Buddhist Centre, 5 James Joyce Street
(off Talbot Street), Dublin 1

How much? No charge.

For more information, contact Irish M.E. Trust,
Ph: Lo-call 1890 200 912 or Fidelma at 087-6834717.
